From the artist
My work has been concerned with memory, its role in the present, and as an expression of the hidden connections within life. While exploring the interface of then and now I have used print, photography, paint, found images or icons’. use the medium of fire, which as the paradox of creation and destruction, holds a resonance and is a natural metaphor for the art process.

I I have been intent on finding ways of marking the passage of time and the immediacy of the present moment. More recently my work has increasingly focused on how we experience time. Do we create value in the present moment? Of what value is our past? And what is the relationship between these two dimensions?
